Launching in 2015, the new Portland Pro-Am - featuring Terrence Jones - will provide an opportunity for the community, players and fans to enjoy family friendly Pro Basketball in the Summer following NBA rules to include NBA talent, overseas and college players who have completed their eligibility, competing on the court with experienced coaches leading them, and high level officials managing the games. Not only will there be high level, competitive and entertaining pro basketball games where you can have an up close and personal view of your favorite players, but special events in support of causes close to Mr. Jones in the greater North East Portland area.

Portland is home to Jones, leading Jefferson High School to three straight Oregon class 5A State Championships between his sophomore and senior years, averaging 32 points and 14 rebounds going to the McDonalds All American Game and Jordan Brand Classic in 2010. Taking his talents to Kentucky, Jones became an NCAA National Champion; he was one of just six players in UK history to record 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 140 blocks in a career. Now a member of the Houston Rockets, who drafted Jones in 2012, he gives back to the community he is from as well as where he resides during the NBA season.
